AWANA is an international, Bible-focused children's and youth ministry providing weekly clubs at Grace Church. The AWANA goal is to help raise spiritual champions who know, love and serve Christ. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of - Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

The AWANA ministry has been partnering with the parents at Grace for over 25 years. While our uniforms and personnel have changed over the years, our desire to evangelize and disciple children has remained steadfastly rooted in our response to the unparalleled love our Savior lavishes on us.

At Grace, there are two groups of AWANA:

Children 3 years old (and potty trained) - 6th grade, meet Wednesdays at 6:30 - 8:00pm.

Student Ministries (7th - 12th grades) meet on Sundays at 3:35 - 5:15pm.

TREK

Middle School students (7th-8th grades) - AWANA Trek answers the questions youth are asking — literally! We asked hundreds of students, “What’s your biggest question about God and the Bible?” Trek takes these real questions from real students and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way.

JOURNEY

High School students (9th-12th grades) - At AWANA Journey, through a deep study of God's Word, we will be working towards becoming lifelong disciples and learning to live with godly perspective and evident faith.
